It's nice to meet you.
Born in Switzerland and raised on Canada's West Coast, I'm a Montreal-based UX Designer with an international and interdisciplinary perspective.
Following a B.Sc. hons in Environmental Design from UBC's School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, I became a social worker, architectural designer and wildfire fighter, before pursuing a UX Certificate through Concordia University.
After 4 years of using my interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills for harm reduction in Vancouver's impoverished Downtown Eastside alongside fighting wildfires in BC, I decided to throw myself into a new challenge. I dove into UX because I'm passionate about using innovation and empathy to make a difference.
I’ve also done infrastructure design for an off-grid oyster farm, wildfire mitigation projects, and international research on urban resilience. Outside of work, I’ve lived off-grid, run an ultramarathon and enjoy creative pursuits like ceramics.
My pals describe me as kind, easygoing, reliable and hardworking. One once told me that my spirit animal is an arctic seal: fun, playful, and tough as nails. My driving force is connecting with people and understanding their challenges to help them achieve meaningful results.
Come say hi, I'm currently open to opportunities.
